G’day, I’m Warren Carrodus of Farm Fencing Direct.
Farm Fencing Direct is a family business based in Beerwah Queensland.
It’s all hands on deck too, as me and my team are all involved in the day-to-day operations of supplying Australia’s best value for money farm fencing, cattle yards and other holding yards to cattle stations, stock suppliers, fencing suppliers, equine suppliers and other similar services across Australia.
About Me, Warren Carrodus…
Throughout my farming life I have used many different types of portable cattle yards, sheep panels and so on from goat farms in Victoria to cattle stations up north.
I’ve also manufactured many a cattle crush when I was an apprentice boilermaker and since then as a farmer.
I’ve also repaired many a farm fence and gate, used my fair share holding pens and bought my share of cattle yards way before I started Farm Fencing Direct, so I know what I’m talking about when it comes to farm fencing, stock supplies and yards to hold livestock.
I’m married, have 3 children and apart from my love of the land and farming, love camping, fishing and caravanning in my downtime.

My Life Before I Started Farm Fencing Direct…
I started my working career as an apprentice boilermaker in the structural steel and farm equipment fabrication industry.
After finishing my apprenticeship I went on to become a pressure welder in the construction maintenance industry for the power and oil and gas fields for more than 10 years. After this I went on and studied to become a welding and QA/QC vessel inspector for over 12 years.
This involved the inspection of completed welds and structures to Australian and international standards ensuring meeting QA/QC requirements.
Our Philosophy
Growing up on the land and being around cattle and sheep and having experience with working with portable yards to manage stock for as long as I can remember, I realised I could not only share my knowledge and experience with the portable stockyards, but realised the significant savings I could pass on to my fellow farmers as well.
A lot of the people who buy our cattle and livestock yards and accessories and fencing for the first time are like a majority of farmers I know and have grown up with.
They’re hardworking, honest people who love and respect the land and the farming way of life no matter what. They’re also the type of people and businesses who will tough it out to see it through unlike a lot of people in the world these days who give up at the first obstacle life throws at them.
Me and my team pride ourselves on delivering value for money with expert service and support at all times backed with quality, which is why Farm Fencing Direct star is on the rise in the farming and livestock industry.
